Axis No 1: Social Reinsertion and the Fight Against Poverty and Exclusion

Being invested in the national mobilization fight against poverty and exclusion,  SAMIR gives its support to wide-ranging initiatives carried out by civil society associations. It has consequently strengthened its partnership with the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity since 2002.

This mobilization has resulted in the doubling of the budget allocated to national solidarity  campaign organised by this Foundation. SAMIR is also involved in supporting the National Observatory of Children’s rights, in the Re-education for minors of Okacha centre, as well as in various Moroccan NGOs working in child protection and with disadvantaged and disabled people (Réseau Maillage, Association main dans la main pour aveugles (Hand in hand association for the blind)).

SAMIR also supports the implementation of a socio-professional reinsertion program for those leaving prison, started by Mohammed VI Foundation for prisoners reinsertion.
